1. Information We Collect
The App does not require an account and does not collect personal information that you directly provide. The photos, videos, and location information the App works with stay on your device and are never uploaded to us. The App uses third-party services that may automatically collect the following information: • Device information (model, OS version) • App usage data (session duration, feature usage) • Crash/performance data (stack traces, device state at the time of a crash) • Advertising identifiers (iOS IDFA, Android AAID), IP address, and approximate location — for ad delivery and measurement Except for advertising identifiers, this data is collected in anonymized or aggregated form.
2. Permissions We Request
• Camera — required to take photos and record videos. • Microphone — requested only when you record video, to capture audio. Photo capture never uses the microphone. • Location (while using the App) — used to obtain the location information the App renders and records. The App does not access your location in the background. • Photo library (add-only) — requested only if you turn on "Save to Camera Roll", so the App can save a copy of the media it captures. This permission does not allow the App to read the photos already in your library. You can grant or revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device settings. Declining a permission only disables the feature that depends on it.
3. Location Information
Location is the core function of the App. When you grant location permission, the App reads your coordinates, altitude, accuracy, compass heading, address, and time from your device. • This information is processed on your device to render the overlay, to write location metadata (EXIF) into the media you capture, and to name the resulting files. • We do not transmit your location to our servers, and we do not store or track your location history. • Converting coordinates into an address (reverse geocoding) is performed by your operating system's location services, which may send the coordinates to Apple or Google for that lookup, subject to their own privacy policies. • Important: the location shown on the overlay and written into the file's metadata stays inside the photo or video. If you share or export the media, the location goes with it. You can turn off location metadata in the App's capture settings.
4. Photos and Videos
Media you capture is stored on your device, in the App's own storage. It is not uploaded to us or to any third party. • If you enable "Save to Camera Roll", a copy is additionally saved to your device's photo library. • The App's built-in gallery only shows media captured with the App; it never reads your existing photo library. • You can delete captured media at any time from within the App. Deleting the App removes the media held in the App's own storage; copies you saved to your photo library remain on your device.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services: • Firebase Analytics — collects anonymized app usage and engagement data to help us understand how the App is used. • Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports and performance data to help us improve app stability. • Google AdMob — used to deliver in-app advertisements; collects advertising identifiers, IP address, and device information to provide personalized ads and measure ad performance. See Google's advertising policies (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) for details. • RevenueCat — manages in-app purchases and subscription status. It receives purchase and entitlement data along with an anonymous app user identifier. See RevenueCat's privacy policy (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy) for details. None of these services receive your photos, videos, or the location recorded in them. The Google services listed above are subject to Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
6. Advertising and Tracking
The free version of the App displays ads through Google AdMob and may use advertising identifiers to provide personalized ads. Pro users see no ads, and the advertising SDK is not initialized for them. • iOS: An App Tracking Transparency consent prompt is shown on first launch. If you decline tracking, non-personalized ads will be shown instead of personalized ones. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. • Android: You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in Device Settings > Google > Ads.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children or minors under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
